A Personal Note from the Designer
I originally made Studio Boss to help me run my own recording studio.
I've been running studios in the Hollywood area for decades — recording sessions, music production, lessons, mixing, and all the day-to-day business that comes with it. I also taught home recording at UCLA for a decade, and taught recording engineering and mixing at Musician's Institute and Pinnacle College. I kept running into the same problems: too many tools, too many follow-ups, too many invoices, and too many important details scattered everywhere.
I wanted one simple app built specifically for studios and creative session businesses — something that could help me stay organized, remember clients, schedule sessions, send invoices, track gear and rooms, and stop money from slipping through the cracks.
